NBS AG has held the ISO 9001:2008 certificate for around a year. On 22 July 2015, NBS AG was finally audited for the quality-relevant business areas by means of an annual monitoring audit. We are proud to announce that the management system complies with all standards and has been successfully introduced into the organisation.

Brülisauer Buchbinderei AG in Gossau SG has been working with an expanded paper disposal system from NBS AG since the beginning of the year. Brülisauer AG is one of the leading print finishers in eastern Switzerland. Due to its field of activity in folding, perfect binding and saddle stitching, it is dependent on a professional waste disposal system. As early as the 1990s, it placed its trust in the expertise of the team led by Jörg Nickel, Managing Director of NBS AG, and designed its first waste disposal facility. At the beginning of this year, a full-scale expansion of the paper disposal facility was put into operation.

"The paper chips are now extracted via an energy-optimised vacuum fan before they enter the material separator and finally the baler," says Managing Director Jörg Nickel. The big advantage is the reduced energy consumption due to the vacuum fan (around 30% energy saving), which is equipped with a soundproof cabin and thus also enables the noise emission to be reduced to 74 dB at a distance of one metre. The dust-laden air is cleaned by a new dust filter system and led outside. In addition to all the technical advantages, the complete manual disposal activity for the operating personnel is also eliminated. Thus, valuable resources such as energy or manpower potential can be used with this expansion of the disposal system.

From 10 - 12 March 2015 the ICE Europe, the world's leading trade fair for the converting industry, will open its doors again at the Munich exhibition centre. As in the past two years, we, NBS AG, will again be represented at the trade fair and present our products and services.

ICE Europe 2015 provides a comprehensive overview of current technical innovations and trends for the finishing and processing of flexible materials such as paper, film, foil and nonwovens. The past trade fair was a record event with 6,600 trade visitors from 64 countries.

NBS AG - Nickel Betriebsanlagen und Systeme - founded in 2002 by Jörg Nickel, has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certificate. On 13 August 2014, the managing director of QS Quality und Service Zürich AG presented the certificate.

ISO 9001:2008 is the most widely used and important national standard in quality management. It defines requirements to improve the transparency of operational processes and thus achieve higher customer satisfaction.
